🏅HACC Team Of The Year🏅

Sam Klein led the club with 665 League/Cup runs ahead of 1st Team Captain Sam Samarasekera who scored 654. 2nd Team Captain Brad Byford and Cam Little also feature.

The 1st Team spin trio of Dhanuka De Silva, Paul Humphries and Louis Parr are all present. A particularly impressive season for Dhanuka who reached the the 50 wicket milestone. U15 Mo Shoaib also recorded 27 wickets in his debut season.

Elliott Brown scored a maiden century for the 5th XI. Elliott scored 104 out of the team’s total of 213, which was enough to defeat Rayleigh and finish the season with a win.

U14 Liam Whitaker made his 2nd Team debut and recorded bowling figures of 3/26 in the teams win against SWF. Liam also top scored for U15 in their midweek game against Gidea Park.

Megan Dovey top scored and picked up 3 wickets in the U13 Girls Central District Cup Final defeat against Hutton.

A fantastic effort from all involved. As a club, our girls played their first ever hard ball cricket match 1 year ago to the day! They have come so far in a short space of time.

With the threes season finished we head to the fours who travel round the corner to @upminstercc whilst the 5s face @rayleighcricketclub

The resurgent 2nd XI recorded a third victory on the bounce with skipper Brad Byford scoring a fine 83, his second score of 80+ on the bounce.

Bobby Seaborne helped the U13 defeat Goresbrook in a game that went down to the wire. Bobby scored 32*, his second retirement score in a row.

The 2s host Great Waltham at Hylands whilst the 1s travel to West Essex.

The 3s are at home Vs Rayleigh Fairview whilst the 4s travel to the same opposition. The 5s host Eastwood at Emerson.

The Adult Award is shared this week by Nathan Duke and Keith Hurford who both scored maiden hundreds for HACC. Duke scored 108 Vs Harold Wood as HACC retained the Ashes whilst Basher scored and unbeaten 124 in the 5th Team victory over Boreham and Roxwell.

Harry Smale scored his first ever half century, with 51* for the U15 in their win Vs Rainham. He also took 3 catches whilst fielding in the same game.

Priyana Upadhyaya kept wicket well and scored 21 for the U12 Girls Team as they beat Billericay.

Tomorrow is the big day.
Make sure you get down to Harold wood to watch the boys in the annual Harold wood ashes as we attempt to claim the silverware.

Stuart Whitaker claimed a 5 wicket haul for the 2nd XI in a vital win against High Easter at Hylands.

Aryav Gadiraju continued his excellent performances this season, helping the U9 defeat Brentwood in a top of the table clash.

Emma Norford helped out the Boys U11 Team against Upminster and picked up 2/5.

Silverware secured.

HACC win the @brookweald_cricket_club cup. Massive thanks to all that took part and a huge thank you to brookweald for organising a great day.

Now we look to@Friday for the big one. The ashes vs @_haroldwoodcc_

SQUAD ANNOUNCEMENT

Our 1st XI are on the road again taking on @harlow_cricket_club whilst the 2s host @higheastercricketclub higheastercricketclub at Hylands.

The 3rd XI face @boreham_roxwell_cc whilst the 4s make the trip to @navestockcc

The 5s take on @st_johns_billericay_cc in a friendly game.

On Sunday we have 2 sides. One side at Hylands hosting the min CC whilst the other side take the trip to @brookweald_cricket_club for their invitational tournament

Muttee Mirza picked up 4 wickets for the 5th XI vs Canewdon, and also reached the milestone of 20 wickets for the season.

Asked to step and open the batting for the U15 - Nikhil Pindoriya reached 30* (Retired) Vs Shenfield and also contributed 29 Vs Bentley.

The U9 Girls Team were crowned Essex Super Smash Champions on Thursday. Throughout the Finals Day Mahi Patel put in a series of excellent performances. 🏆

@nduke_04 leads the 1st XI for a first time whilst @chrishumphries987 leads the 2nd XI, with both teams playing away.

As a result the 3rdXI have a chance to play at Hylands this week against @greattothamcricket The 4s take a trip to Danbury whilst the 5s are at Emerson park.

Phil Goldstone battled a thumb injury and cramp to score a well made 82 in the 2s unsuccessful run chase Vs Rayleigh. He also contributed 1-41 with the ball.

Mohammad Shoaib had a great week taking 3-15, including a hat-trick, in U15 Vs Hornchurch, and followed that up with 3-18 Vs OC’s in 5th XI Saturday.

The U12 Girls Team had a comprehensive win Vs Galleywood in which Smeraa Ramkumar picked up the second youth hat-trick of the week!

Alfie Horan scored a fine unbeaten 75 for the 1st Team in their total of 264-2 Dec as they beat Benfleet at Hylands.

U9 Archie Poch had a good week in all aspects of the game, scoring runs, taking wickets, catches and adding a direct hit run outs in the U9 Games. Honourable mention to last weeks winner Nathan Matthews who has been batting very well for the team.

This week’s Girls Winner is Willow Sammons who helped the team win their third U9 Kwik Cricket Tournament of the season, this one hosted at HACC on Friday.
