Welcoming women to the great game of cricket

In 2023, Hornchurch Athletic will be launching Women's Softball cricket aimed at 13 years and above.

The club ran some sessions in 2019 which proved to be very popular and with the growing popularity in women's sport, the club is organising more sessions with and emphasis on fun and enjoyment whilst playing cricket.
​
A great opportunity for women to have fun and meet some new friends.

Monthly, fun based coaching sessions for women will start in May and are likely to be on Friday evenings from 6:00 for 1 hour.
​
Sessions will take place at Hylands Park in Hornchurch and there will be no cost.
No equipment is required and a incrediball (soft version of a cricket ball) will be used. The club will provide bats, balls and stumps for everyone to use.
​
Following the sessions the club bar will be open.
